White nights in Iceland
What is White Nights?
White night is a night on which it never gets completely dark, because the sun does not descend sufficiently far below the horizon. This phenomenon is observed at sufficiently high latitudes in summer.
What about Reykjanes
A region's latitude has a great effect on its climate and weather. Reykjanes is located on 65,55°N
Arctic circle is located on 66,44°N. Everything north of that is called Arctic. So we are werry close to the arctic. And have werry White nights here in Reykjanes, we even have special darking curtain so people can sleep during summer.
The period from middle of June until middle of July we can say there is bright 24 hours. So if you want to live white nights then Reykjanes has it all.
